Ian Farrell is a Sports Therapist dedicated to helping people recover from injury, reduce pain, improve movement, and perform at their best.
After serving for over 38 years in the British Army, including operational deployments around the world, Ian developed a deep understanding of physical resilience, discipline, teamwork, and the importance of maintaining peak physical performance under demanding conditions.
Alongside his military career, Ian has competed in sport at a high level and is now an accomplished Rugby Union referee, officiating in the National Leagues and the professional game. This unique combination of military experience, elite sport, and performance environments has given him first-hand insight into the physical demands placed on the body and the importance of effective recovery, rehabilitation, and injury prevention.
Driven by a lifelong passion for health, fitness, and helping others, Ian transitioned into sports therapy to provide evidence-informed treatment and personalised care. He combines a range of therapies—including sports massage, rehabilitation, acupuncture, dry needling, cupping therapy, hot stone therapy, and exercise prescription—to deliver treatment plans tailored to each individual.
